sit with it

another piece driven by social and political issues. this piece, done in acrylic paint on a 48x60in canvas, intentionally packs in a ton of issues that are jumbled up in our political and social environment. since i tend to stay pretty up to date with the news and issues going on in the world around me, at time it could feel quite overwhelming and i wanted to capture that in a painting. chaos going on in the background, on a daily basis, yet just being at the point of unsureness with what exactly to do in order to help or do my part.
